Have bought the best snow boots ever!

Decathlon have fabulous Ladies snow boots, they are brown suede uppers (but the special waterproof stuff) with a small amount of wool at the very top. They look smart enough to wear to work with a skirt, probably not a suit but a smart work skirt. They are fantastically comfy and very warm. They also have decent grips on the soles - perfect for the current weather.

Can't find them on their website to post a link - but would recommend them.

I am seriously thinking of sending for a pair of [[http://www.sarenza.co.uk/moon-boot these]

I remember owning a pair in the 70s and they were the most incredibley unslipping boots ever. Massively warm too.

Katz - I saw those boots in Decathlon here in Budapest a couple of weeks ago and have been regretting not buying them ever since! I have snow boots that I bought the first year we came here - 6 years ago -which are fine but I bought red for some reason. I may head back to Decathlon for the brown ones.

Now. How to justify yet another pair of brown boots? I have - wait for it - 6 pairs of brown boots at the moment!!!! Plus black, red, purple and gray.

these ones are totally justifible - they are so warm and comfy and lovely, i have some bright pink snow boots - which i won on here years ago but they don't quite work for work like these do

you didn't take much convincing!!! Have to say have had complements at work about them and then surprise when i've mentioned there winter walking boots!

Got lots of snow on them today and there's not a mark on them. Have had suede boots before ruined by getting a drop of water on them.

We are supposedly going to Lakeside on the 11th but snow may stop play. There is a Decathlon there (love the place!), so will keep fingers crossed that (a) I get there and (b) they still have them in stock. Its soooo annoying that you can now order on-line but not all their stock.

Decathlon was desimated on sunday when we were there, no children's ski gloves, sledges all gone and not many pairs of the nice snow boots left, strangley there were loads of pairs of the brightly coloured plastic boots!

I never take much convincing when it comes to shopping!

Actually I got my old boots out today and couldn't face putting them on. And I bet that there will be none of your boots left when I get to Decathlon!

I have their Inverness wellies and they are fab, especially for those of us who are fat in the calves!

Buda me neither when it comes to shopping! Is this where I admit that we went to Decathlon in Malaga whilst killing time for the plane home??? Blush

Got 'em!! Had to hunt for them as they had moved them. Very comfy. Am wearing them now - put them on in the car!

Am now sat outside a outdoor sports shop waiting for it to open to look for fleece lined crocs for DS. He loves them as slippers.

Half the sodding shops here don't open till 10.

Going to Decathlon in Malaga is above and beyond!!!! Good use of time though!

buda - day 2 of wearing them and we now have 15+cm of snow here and they remain comfy and warm and have not marked at all despite getting very snowy walking home.

Very much loving them just need a knee length coat to go with them to keep me completly toasty warm.

Loving mine too. They are so comfy. More comfy than my slippers.

15cm! Wow. We don't have that much here thankfully. Very icy though as it warmed up this afternoon and rained a bit which has now frozen. Tomorrow morning could be fun.

Iron died today as my cleaner was about to start the 3 baskets so if roads are ok I need to go buy a new iron and start the ironing! Am hoping can't get out!

Last time I went out and measured now had reached 40cm. But it's been snowing again in the night so will be deeper again!
