Kids PJs?

EleFunTess · 06/09/2010 20:20

I need some new PJs for my two kids (DS is in size 7-8 yrs, DD in 2-3 yrs).

I have looked at the obvious places - Tesco/Asda/Matalan have really crap selections, Next has limited selection available in the sizes I want, Mothercare seem to have hiked up their prices, John Lewis is extortionate.

Where else can I look?

i always try and buy pj's in sales as like 'nice' ones i.e white co. JL, boden etc. Was seriously unimpressed with boden tho last season or so. Next looked good in that age (DS) i like skinny pj's on my younger boys gap and next.

oh, i was going to say john lewis. lovely quality

um, i've had nice ones from boots before, but that would only be for your dd as they don't go up to 7-8

Sorry was going to suggest JL too, they wash lovely and seem really good quality.

Personally, my first look would be www.welovefrugi.com (I love their stuff). Failing which, Little White Company.

Gap pajamas are the best ever. My DCs have loads of pairs as I love them.

Mothercare wash really well - still soft. Worth the £££ I think

Costco have the best kids pyjamas, like the gap ones but half the price.

I would say Boots for DD. Good quality although Mini Club @ Boots is new and quality still to be determined (seems the same to me).

Debenhams also very good.

Get all my ones from Sainsburys! Love their PJ's for the kids! Wash well and last until grown out of.

Saw some nice ones in BHS the other day. Didn't buy them as my son just sleeps in his pants. Wants to be like daddy I think. Saves me money and he's comfortable!!!!

Gap PJ's £15 a pair, but well worth it, they just wash and wash. I love them because they are skinny fit so move with kids as they toss in bed. In GAP outlet in Ashford Kent, they were £9.99 a pair - must be last season.
If you can't afford them in GAP, try to pick some up on Ebay 2nd hand - they really do wash well.
I just sold two pairs of age 3 girls! £1.50 each.
GAP comes up a bit small, so get age bigger - my daughter is 3 yr 3 month and just gone into age 4.

Keep an eye out for sales and offers in Gap to make them a bit cheaper but agree that the quality is great.

//MandMdirect.com sometimes have decent children's PJs but does vary from day to day.

Second the gap pj's - just make sure to order a size up as they are super tight. You can usually find some new ones on EBAY.

Think the boden ones are very over priced. Plan on trying the Little White Company next time.

Got my ds age 6/7 some dinosaur ones in BHS, sick of seeing skull and cross bones and benbleedinten on. They wash well and were 14quid for 2 pairs.

I just buy checked PJ bottoms for my boys (M and S) and they wear plain white T shirts with them, (or more often than not they go topless)

Another one saying white company or gap (sale only) wash so well. Sainsbury often have plaid ones similar to LWC, and they have also been fantastic.

Gap starts 30% off on Thursday. I got an email but you probably have to go to the Gap website and sign up for newsletter. Gap are now online but I don't know if that voucher works online.

JL have some nice blue PJs with all over dinosaur print in green - can't remember price tho - sorry.
Bought my son some of the long john style ones from Boden - they are the one thing that I but from Boden year on year - wash and wear so so well. They were £30 for 2 pairs but this code got me £10 off and free P&P XTHB - not sure when it is valid until but worth a try?
PS - size up in Boden PJs
