SO many things in there that I need. But what the hell are those 'slipper boots' on page 13?!

Is there a website? I bought the best pair of winter trousers ever from the Toast section in Selfrdges. (but two years ago).

marthamoo Mon 22-Aug-05 14:11:07

jenk, they are a ridiculously expensive clothing store who sell hand knitted socks for £50. And nice clothes. Which I can't afford.

But my trousers were about £50 and have been worn day in day out in winter for 2 years and have kept all shape!

marthamoo Mon 22-Aug-05 14:13:34

They don't seem to do the socks anymore - shame, I was going to buy a pair.

EnidfromtheVILLAGE Mon 22-Aug-05 14:13:42

I might get that denim skirt a friend has one and it is ace

mancmum Mon 22-Aug-05 14:13:43

I love TOAST and will talk about it for hours... m currently wearing toast trousers --one of 4 pairs I bought from selfridges in their sale -- total bargain -- all down to 40 quid... was a bit gutted about their web site though -- was going to buy a dress from the online sale and went back to find it all gone overnight with no warning...

I now own 6 pairs of Toast trousers, 1 top and a tshirt... addicted!!

EnidfromtheVILLAGE Mon 22-Aug-05 14:15:09

mmmm with clunky high shoes and little cashmere sweater for evening

marthamoo Mon 22-Aug-05 14:17:12

'..worn resting lightly on the hips rather than on the waist..' sounds like a muffin-top danger area to me, Enid.

EnidfromtheVILLAGE Mon 22-Aug-05 14:17:41

love this too

EnidfromtheVILLAGE Mon 22-Aug-05 14:17:59

yes, you need a long top

Blu Mon 22-Aug-05 14:19:02

I want the chunky alpaca cable-knit sweater, the carpenter skirt, the cord shift dress and the £50 socks, even tho' they don't exist.

Cod you are just such a tart!

EnidfromtheVILLAGE Mon 22-Aug-05 14:19:28

I want that long sweater too the last one on the knitwear page
