What do you think?

I've always liked them and love the colour of this one.

So verdict?

You see I'm short although bust not so large any more but still I am drawn to it.

I brought one a bit like that the other day and I love it here

I've worn it with shorts and a t-shirt - a la Sienna Miller at Glastonbury

<<psssst Tracey, I am not really supposed to be on MN but cannot resist posting>>

I like, bit yummy-mummy-tastic around my neck of the woods but nowt wrong with that smile. Looks good with skinnies and knee boots I think and better than a sleeveless puffa thing. One of the mums at nursery has a v nice fake fur gilet which I was much coveting - I think there's a shop on the Kings Road that specialises.

<<returns to packing for hols>>

tracey - if you have the figure then I think in general these are nice, although I don't like that particular one very much - it is too hairy!

Hmmmm - you see I thought it would be a universal no but its not.

May order it and see.

Esher - are you off to greece already?

Do know what you mean about the yummy mummy thang though grin

traceybath Thu 22-Jul-10 17:05:52

Sweetheart - thats nice but I suspect you are quite a bit younger than me grin

Ali - too hairy you say but aren't all mongolian gilets hairy?

Alibabaandthe40nappies Thu 22-Jul-10 17:12:17

Tracey I think the ones I have seen and like are reverseable, so you just have the fur around the edges - it gives a bit more shape.

I am just imagining that vest over my already large bust - it would look like I had stuck an actual lamb to my front grin. Can see though that if you are more petite then it would look good.

I think you have to try it on before you can make a decision!

I think I prefer these but maybe yours is a little more funky and less twee. net a porter has almost the exact same in black

I did try on about 5000 gilets a couple of years ago when I was a trifle larger and very diplomatic friend kept hmming and hahing until I finally got the message grin

I suspect I am a trifle early and more will appear in the shops over the next month or so.
