I'm an occupational therapist. Out of interest if Nyone is considering what degree to do there is lots of available work in this field smile

That's a great job op. My best friend is an OT with older people and it's such a valuable job. Well done.

Enjoy your first pay cheque and I hope you can treat yourself to something nice.

Really well done you! I was raised by a hard-working single mum who did something similar.

You're a heroine and a superstar and a fantastic example to your DC. grinwinecakeflowers for you!

Well done! My sister is an OT and loves it.
I did the same despite being a teenage mother who would never amount to anything apparently.
Now I'm a scientist.
It's a great feeling isn't it!

I'm a single parent in my second year training to be an OT. Well done, it's hard work! Really glad to hear there is lots of work as I was starting to worry that I would do this and then be unemployed!

Don't apologise! Bloody well done. I'm doing an OU degree whilst working part-time with one dc and a very supportive dh and some days I want to scream and run away. Bloody well done! (again)
