How selective are university's? Really worried I won't get a place. What do they look for? Any advice for personal statement?

Can you pay the fees? Do you have a pulse?

Although to be honest, they might regard ability to form plurals correctly an advantage :-)

In the UK? It's fairly straightforward if you've got a 2.1 or above (or international equivalent) in a relevant first degree and can demonstrate that you've got the finances. On more selective/oversubscribed courses - most aren't - the motivational statement needs to indicate you understand what the course is about and that you can write reasonably well, but that's it.

Alternatively, many universities will also accept a 2:2 with work experience.

Good luck!

Agree with bokograph-unless it is a particularly competitive msc, you'll get on.
