SD has really pissed off DH - oops

I have to eat my hat sometimes.

It is DH's fathers birthday tomorrow. He has gone out and bought a lovely card for SS and SD to sign as they won't be seeing him on his b/day.

DH arranged with SD and BM for SD to drive over here with SS yesterday evening to do the deed. No show. This evening arrives and still no show. DH calls BMs house to ask if SD is actually going to make it. BM says she forgot and that SD isn't at home, she is out with her mates in town for the duration!

Fair's fair, BM did suggest she bring SS over to sign the card and was very apologetic.

DH told BM that he didn't want to speak to SD this evening as he is far to angry and disappointed.

BM said that SD will come over in the morning to sign the card. DH asked BM to remind her but if she forgets then he won't be at all happy!

BM tries to make excuses but in the end they both decide that it is a lost cause.... SD is at the moment anyway.

Poor DH... he has nothing but disappointment from SD. He is embarrassed that she can't even remember her grandfather's birthday, especially when he made her 18th so financially abundant.

DH was spitting feathers, calling SD a manipulative c*w, a two faced madam and a disgrace to all the money he has put into her education at private school!!

I eat my hat.... I am gobsmacked that DH has finally seen the light.... for a while.
