My gorgeous (not quite) DSD

Just a small thread. DP does things that annoy me. So does DSD. So does DS.
But fuck me, DSD is a credit to herself and her mum.
It’s not easy, it never will be, and I’ll always work hard to be a good mum and a good daddy’s girlfriend (we’re 6 years in, never the OW), and I’m dead lucky to find myself in this tangle of family.

Yep, we’re the same except we’re 27 years in. I’d be lying if I said it had all been plain sailing. There have been some very hard times along the way but we’ve dealt with them as a family and I’m very proud of where we are today. On a trip out last week dsd commented that we were “not only mother and daughter but best friends too”.

Step parenting (and parenting) is hard work but so worth the effort.
