Hi all
For a zillion reasons children may not acknowledge never mind show gratitude for our parenting role despite how we invest love and effort we invest in our families. C’est la vie!
But many of you have offered me interesting perspectives on some of my challenges in this role so today I wanted to say thank you for your support and offer you some 💐💐

Thanks for all. It's a difficult day. Even just some acknowledgement would be nice. Don't need cards or flowers.

I meant don't need cards of flowers from dsc. Is it too early for a Wine?
Just had text message from dsc, opened it with a glimmer of hope to find it's a message asking if they've left a particular item of clothing at ours.

Tempus Grin so tempting. It's not here so they are going to have to ask her anyway.

Yeh it’s hard, I find it hard anyway as my mum is no longer with me and my dsc live with us half the time, I don’t expect a card or a present but it would be nice to get an acknowledgment of some sort as I said in a previous thread but most seem to think that is too much to ask! Well I have my own dcs to spoil me so I am lucky but being step mum is a tough job as u get none of the rewards. But I for one want to wish you all a happy mother’s day you do one of the toughest jobs in the world 💐

Happy Mother's Day everyone!
I got a card from my DP and some books I'd wanted, little legend that he is. Last year the kids made me a 'Reasons why we love Washing Matilda' list. I'm very lucky to feel appreciated, I know many don't.

Hope you all have a lovely day however you are spending it Flowers
