I feel your pain. Mine are away this weekend and to be honest it's lovely.
Though both of us are likely to get roasted over saying such things.
But I don't care !

I can't wait for drinkies tonight. Currently on the bus home with DSD, having suffered the usual fortnightly 'what we said wrong THIS time' rant through the week. Says she wants to come over Christmas Day but it's the 3/4th time she's apparently changed her mind so far.....

Haha thanks, I've told them to tidy it now (and I'm wicked SM for doing that lol). Dh backed me up! Hooray! But normally he's of the impression why tidy when it's only gonna get messed up again. Then I pointed out that I bet their mum doesn't live in a mess for 12 days until they are with us!

And I don't care if I get flamed,

On the plus side she did make me a StepMum Christmas Card. I'm genuinely touched by it tbh.

Ohhh I am the bitch queen from hell cos I expect them to keep their rooms tidy and to bring their washing down, make their own breakfast and drinks whereas they are waited on hand and foot by their mum.

I will be supping tea as I don't drink Blush but actually I am looking forward to having the dsc's although I am pissed off that she has balked the custody agreement and refusing to allow the kids here on xmas eve

My DSD is currently doing the usual "how many of this have you had". She counts food?!?! So, if there garlic bread or something else in the middle she'll keep a track of who's had what. Is that a typical thing of an 8 year old? She'll be full but won't miss out. I'm not sure if that's just kids or not

Mine are due to arrive any moment dsd is fine dss is a nightmare next few days of backchat and rudeness, refusal to touch anything I've cooked (fine with me means get a break from cooking) but worst by far means my sil is coming over to see her little babies (not seen my actual baby for 5 months in case upsets dsc,) getting annoyed just thinking about it!

TheJingleMumsRush · 19/12/2014 20:15

Thememen, is it your SIL who posts on FB if you do anything without them? Here WineWineWine Grin How dare you continue normal life without the dsc. Thankfully, my sil is nothing like that, and my DSC mum is also quite reasonable

Yup jungle that's the one. Apparently she's bought the dsc advent calendars because we horrifically didn't, they have them at their mums, so when she comes tomorrow they'll eat 21 chocolates, ds doesn't get one though Hmm I will just ignore her Xmas Angry

yup mumsrush. dss is really upset but she is nrp and if she refuses there isn't much we can do. am livid though especially as she will expect me to go up there to collect them (not happening) and she is refusing to let us have them before 1 which ain't gonna work as I am not making dd wait that far past her dinner time. she is also refusing to let them come on new years eve. I knew this would happen and posted assume a couple of months back and got flamed for my trouble when I said it didn't matter how reasonable we were or weren't it wouldn't be good enough.

them she is awful!! I bet she doesn't out her life on hold when they are with you!
