Hi all,
I am after a bit inspiration, please. DP's boys are 8 and 12 and they don't seem to have any interests other than electronic games. What do I put in their stockings? Any suggestions would be MUCH appreciated!!! x

DS is 13. He is getting a torch, a spork, playing cards, a pencil/spirit level, some post its, some smellies, some "astronaut" freeze dried ice cream, gloves, christmas boxer shorts, cycling sunglasses, er.... Some other stuff I've forgotten!

My dss is 12.
His stocking this year has touchscreen friendly gloves, light up thingy for bike spokes (both about £1 from mn Christmas threads), star wars mug, and a magnetic puzzle.
All around the £1/2 mark the same as the other dc.

Recent years hits include spaceman food and spray on chalk for 'grafitti' on the garden wall Smile

Oh and those popper things, um little twists of paper with a little gun powder (?) in that bang when you thtow them on the path.
Usually 3 for a pound in warehouse type shops.

ds is about to turn 11. My advice is to trawl the charity shops. I also always do an order from hawkin.com.

Bacon-flavoured toothpaste (not from a charity shop!)
Blink time band here
If you do Amazon, then second-hand paperbacks of Choose Your Own Adventure books here, there are modern versions as well
If you have spare crackers, stick one in the stockings
Jumping Frog game (here)

Have a look around the pound shop/99p store and pick out anything that looks 'cool', DVDs, chocolate (we've always done chocolate coins in stockings), you could even include something useful (an umbrella or sth?)

I second MeandJulio's suggestion of Hawkins Bazaar too - love that shop!
