dh's ds coming to stay after 12 years of not seeing him !!!

my dh hasnt seen his ds for 12 years due to his ex. he is now 18 and they have gotten in touch with each other a couple of weeks ago. he is now coming to stay with us for the weekend and although i am happy for my dh i am worried it will cause lots of problems. Our ds doesnt know about his brother and he has SN.

anyone have a similar scenario and how did you handle it
