Found DBD1's homework. Made me cry (in a good way!)

I just came across this on the computer, I'm assuming it's DBD's PSHE (is that what it's called?) homework she was doing yesterday. I am pregnant so have an excuse for crying, but just wanted to share it with you. The Q was to talk about a relationship imoortant to you.

I have an important relationship with my stepmum, who is called xxxxxx. I know that I can trust her when I tell her things. I know that no matter what, she will always be there when I need a friend, somebody to talk to, and, as I?m not particularly close to my mother, a mum. She?s been part of our family for five years, and I can?t properly remember a time when she wasn?t. She?s the family member I like and listen to the most, therefore I have a better relationship with her than any of my other family members except maybe my dad.

Thank you for sharing that.

This is how I have hoped to be with my DBSs, but sadly I don't think they'll ever think of me like that and it's been 11 years!

Am a little Envy ,

but very happy that this does happen for some Smile

That is lovely but I wouldn't tell her you read it as she might not like that.

Thanks everyone. I am very very lucky to have such a great DBD!

I didn't tell her I read it but couldn't help giving her a great big hug when she got in, think she thought I was a bit weird! I am going to print it out and hide it away somewhere, just so that there's a record that she did like me at some point in her life! And so that I can read it when I need a boost of course! Grin
