It would be good to hear from those that had a childhood sporting hero and villain. My heroes were Mike Tyson at his height for his pure animal instinct and raw aggression. Another was (the nugget) Steve Davis (Mr boring) also Martin Offiah And Boris Becker. My childhood villains were Stephen Hendry for knocking Davis of his throne. Childhood villain Ben Johnson for obvious reasons.

Today I really admire the Rocket Ronnie O'Sullivan for all he has achieved in the sport against all of his mental health issues he is a true great and without doubt the best ever! Today's villains would still be any sporting cheat there is no place for them in our society with the worst in recent times probably going to Lance Armstrong...

My greatest sporting hero title has to go to my DS who has recently been selected to run for England Athletics at youth level at middle distance. He is a hardworking young man who gets up at 05.30 to run before school and he trains hard. He has determination is driven and is aiming for the stars and he has made his parents so proud.
