DS has just started to play hockey. Would like to buy him a hockey stick for his birthday. As he is just a beginner I don't want to spend a fortune but would like to get a reasonable quality one. Should I get a wooden one or composite?
Take look on sports direct. DS loves hockey (I hated it at school!).Greys or slazenger are decent ones, I think DS had a 'rebel' one. Don't know about kookaburra (usually cricket gear). The handle should be around the belly button.SD gave some good sales, and they do get bashed a lot!
