I've only got into cricket this year despite a house full of cricket obsessed. I just love it now. So any predictions? I don't think many saw this game coming.. Do you think we can retain it or is this a sign?

Am currently listening in bed - big relief KP isn't out! I've loved cricket since I was very young - used to watch it with my Dad and try to go to county and international matches when I can as I live pretty near Old Trafford. Ds's dad also plays for a local team so we go in the summer and take picnics - great way to spend a sunny afternoon!

That was the point I went off to bed too Dotty, and pleased when I checked at 6.00am that I hadn't stayed up.

I hope they have a better day tonight (!) but not holding out much hope.

Not staying up here either.

Feel a bit of a flakey fan though. Although am feeling knackered, so maybe I wouldn't be able to even if they were doing well and it was all looking good.

Do you think Cook will go as captain if it's a complete whitewash?

I think Cook needs to find some personal form, but I don't think he'll go as Captain.

I don't think there is an obvious replacement for him.

The commentators were all saying how good his captaincy was in the first match. It was the players who weren't performing well enough.

And it was only five minutes ago everyone thought he was the bees knees, and saying he was as good as Don Bradman!

What do I know though?!

I agree - it's just that players always seem to lose their form when they're the Captain! Agree that there's no-one obvious to take over - maybe Prior if he continues to find some form? I heart Prior Blush Grin

I heart Prior too. Someone commentating the other day said that he's desperately short of runs at the moment, but I hadn't been aware of that. Hopefully he'll put some runs on the board tonight. A double hundred would be nice Xmas Grin
