I have an “infected cyst” on my leg (side of my knee) and I’ve been given antibiotics. It is SO painful (and I have a 6 week baby I birthed with no pain relief!)! Is there anything I can do to ease the pain or make the damn thing pop?! I can’t see a head and squeezing it makes me dizzy!

Help!

Magnesium sulphate and then cover it and leave it alone. Day or two and it will come out. Try to leave it for now. Antibiotics need to kick in by the look of it. Dp had similar on his forehead some years ago. It was quite dramatic.

How is it today OP ? Draw a line around the edge of the redness to make sure it’s not getting bigger.

Oh bless you, that looks so painful!
I hope the mag sulph draws out the rest of the gunk.
I am also admiring your restraint in not popping it, I know I would not be able to resist!

I went back to the doctors and he was a bit baffled as it’s a bit like a blister on top of a big lump. He pondered if I’d been bitten by something but I know I’ve had a little cyst there for years.

What will the magnesium do? I want to be around when this goes! I have tried squeezing it but it’s just too painful😩

Oh no, you did the right thing, that's very painful looking, have you a temp Katura, I'd say that needs a doctor.
