I've just found this little corner of disgusting heaven and it reminded me of this...
About ten years ago my mum was itching her lower stomach and asked if I would have a look to see if there were any spots/rashes. I had a look and there was a black dot that looked just like a blackhead so I started squeezing it for her as she couldn't see it herself. It wasn't coming out so I was fiddling about and it came out a bit, it looked odd so I pulled it. It kept coming and coming and coming... it was a long black thread confused She looked shocked and said "My last operation there was 20 years ago" shockShe'd always had a bit of soreness there but didn't think much of it.. It looked as good as new when I pulled it out grin
It was a very sporny moment. Has anyone else pulled anything unexpected out of anywhere?

Nurse had to dig embedded stitches out of a wound in my head for me...

I had some supposed "dissolvable" stitches in my bikini line last year. I had a weeping lump that wouldn't go away so I whacked some mag sulph on it overnight.

The next morning it looked like there was a tiny speck of something so I pulled at it - an entire stitch and its knot came out. Bloody lovely

Ha! My mum had this too. She was scratching and scratching, asked me to have a look thinking it was a rogue hair. Yanked out a giant stitch from her appendix scar. The scar is older than me. I'm 28. It was glorious grin

My oh once had (what looked like) a blackhead with puss built up behind it in his knee, he had squeezed it a few times but only a bit of gunk would come out. Anyway one night he was squeezing/picking at it and pulled out one of those curved thorn things (like on a rose bush) it was a good cm each way and left one hell of a hole shock

I once had a breast abscess that was so bad it somehow eroded my boob, it burst through my skin oozing loads of puss

I got some straw in my knee one summer as a kid, it was amazing at the end of the summer when this mozzie bite just wouldn't go away so I squeezed, and dug around a bit and pulled out some straw. I'd been climbing over bales at some point.

I regularly try to squeeze my old belly button piercing and get a satisfying lump out each time!

I once squeezed the bottom of my actual belly button because there was a little black dot and a good cm of crap came out! I was amazed and ecstatic and then scared incase I'd caused damage!

I once stepped on a very painful sea anenomae in Egypt. Many many months layer, I was washing my feet in the bath and soap ed my toes. Out came the spine of that sea anenomae. It was a beautiful moment but also very strange.

I am weeping joyfully at all of your stories. grin

I am pregnant and as a result my belly button has errm, surfaced. Complete with the black lump that has always been there. Hiding at the bottom of my belly button and standing proud during my last pregnancy. I've always wondered what the hell it was. A few weeks ago I decided to give it a prod with some tweezers. A couple of days later I gave it a good squeeze. A big old stitch from my keyhole appendicectomy 13 years ago can wiggling out. So satisfying!

So glad I found this. I feel like less of a freak now!

Don't know if it's a major sporner due to various issues with my first baby we were moved to another hospital. I was post section. My stitches were very very painful after about a week in hospital midwife checked the knot and said they're dissolvable. Baby and I were in for 13 days. On day 13 I said to the midwife this is so so at the end of the day she said ohhh right the hospital you had your section in don't use dissolvable stitches!! So I lay down as she pulled the knot and stitches out through my skin that had grown over the stitches in 2 weeks. Fecking killed. So don't always trust stitches are dissolvable!!

I once removed my own stitches as they were getting embedded, several days before the appointment to have them removed. Satisfying.

Bartholin cyst anyone 😇 I may have waddled like a duck but boy oh boy did that thing satisfy a sporners fantasy......

hrfvenia I love doing this too. I had my belly button pierced twice, the top one is a dissappointment, but the bottom quite often holds a treat grin I always automatically bring my finger up towards my nose for a whiff, before I realise what I'm doing and stop (normally too late by then!!)

I pulled a stitch out of DHs keyhole surgery scar once. It has only been in there for a fortnight but it was when I was examining his open surgery scar that I was was little blue dot. That was a couple cms and a knot!

He also had a sort of tunnel in his skin made up from scar tissue that I got a great tube of gunk from. That had been there about 20 years, it's closed up and healed over now. All very satisfying haha!

My ex still has a hole in his back from what we call the "Great Blackhead Excavation" of 2005. We broke up 10 years ago, but I still message him to ask about it from time to time.

Dh had been complaining of a sore foot for weeks and had developed a lump of hard skin with what looked like a blister underneath. I filed away the dead skin to try and reach the blister but there was nothing there but a tiny black speck. I got the tweezers and pulled. And kept pulling. It was a hair that had embedded itself into his foot and gradually worked its way under the skin. Amazingly satisfying.

DH had some long hairs growing out of the centre of his belly button which is a very deep and straight hole. One day while in the bath the clump of hairs came out together with a long tapering point of crud that they had somehow started growing from. They were at least two inches long, poss more. This was in the bath - bubbles started coming up from the void it left behind. No hairs have grown back since.
