I've been having an itch beside my c-scar for a couple of weeks (ds born end of January) and having had a good peek at it, there is a lump which stings like buggery when poked at (can't resist). I don't know whether it's an ingrown hair or something more sinister!
I have taken a photo but it's bloody rank - not a nice location! But you know, sporn and all that - I can share if it helps diagnosis!

I had a lump after my sterilization, eventually it produced a short but thick strand of suture material, very satisfying
