We have been asked by the team at Barclays to find 10 MNers to come along to a Barclays branch with their children for a couple of hours to attend a session on all things digital with Barclays Digital Eagles.

They say, "Barclays Digital Eagles are tech experts who offer digital support and advice in branch. As part of our ongoing partnership with Mumsnet, we really want to show you how Barclays Digital Eagles can support you and your family with technology and get your ideas on what other support we could offer.

"So we’re looking for Mumsnetters to come down for a fun morning with some of our Digital Eagles. They’ll be running a really exciting session for kids:

"A CoderDojo is for young people aged between 7-17 years of age and will teach your kids how to use basic computer code. Learning to code equips your kids with a unique set of digital skills – not to mention the ability to problem-solve and get creative. And what better way to show off their new skills than by creating their very own computer game that they can take home and impress their friends with?

"While they’re getting to grips with code, our Digital Eagles will be on hand to offer guidance about how to keep your kids safe when they use the internet and digital devices, on areas such as:
• Parental controls
• Setting boundaries
• Online security and passwords
• Social networking
• Sharing information online

"Digital Eagles will also be available to answer any other burning techy questions you have may – whether you need help with a new device, registering for online banking or setting up a new app."

We're looking for folks who:
~ Have at least one child (aged 7-17) who regularly uses digital devices and the internet – and can come with them on the day
~ Want to learn more about how to keep their children safe online
~ Would like to find out how their kids can develop their digital skills
~ Are Barclays customers

The event will be filmed by Barclays so we are especially looking for folks who are confident speaking on camera and can articulate their review clearly and with relevant examples from their lives.

Films will be used across Barclays social media channels.

The event will be at the Barclays Tottenham Court Road branch and is by invitation only.

It will be held from 10am-12pm and you'd need to be there for the whole session.

As a token of thanks everyone who attends will be given a £50 John Lewis PLC voucher and also one £10 Amazon voucher for your DCs to use. Please note John Lewis PLC and Amazon are not promoters of or associated with this event.

Mumsnetters who qualify for the criteria and sign-up will be selected to attend the event at random.
