What is your most treasured memory? Were you able to capture that moment on film or in a photo? How do you display your photos within your home? Perhaps you have a dedicated photo wall for everyone to see or a dusty stack of family albums to look through when you’re feeling nostalgic? We have taken (and printed and framed) photos of our kids every christmas eve since they were born. They adorn our kitchen wall and the memories of those younger babes is there everyday for us to see.

I treasure the photos taken at the birth of my son (C-section) as the nurse captured my partner holding him for the first time which I missed as I was being stitched up. A special album for his birth photos is how we chose to keep them

I have a birthday collage picture printed for each of my DC; it has a photo of them on their birthday each year and it's obviously updated each year. It's nice to see the change in them over the years, in one place.
We have lots of photo frames around the house and I regularly change the photos.
I find the photo doesn't need to capture the right moment, but seeing a photo often triggers the memory of certain moments, IYSWIM :)

Gosh I have quite a few. I am a prolific photographer and try to capture all times and occasions. I am good at cataloguing and then getting my photos printed. I put into albums which are dated and also put where we are etc. My post special prints are usually enlarged and then hung on my family wall in the hall. I love them...slightly to the annoyance of others in my family

I love a photograph of my fav people! My son thinks I'm annoying getting him to pose for any photos. But I also love a little snap shot of every day life, like a walk out or if he's messing about with his dad or helping to cook tea with us - I sneak in a little photo of them to look back on as that's when you see a true picture of his personality - rather than a forced smile when you say to him 'say cheese!' We have a gallery wall in our hallway of special moments and memories but it's amazing how they can become so old and our son has grown up so much since them, and they aren't even from that long ago! I have folders of pictures In my phone too so it's always nice to look back on them too! X

I suppose our most treasured memories are those involving the children. My husband moans that we have huge memory capacity on our Mac taken up by photos but that's where they are. I use the stock for photo books and canvas prints for us and for grandparents. We regularly do a back up on a hard drive to ensure there are few chances of loss of data.

I of course take the random happy pictures of me and the family doing things together, especially when they least expect it...though tbh I'm usually more likely to be filming them because I lost all my family videos from when I was a kid and I loved watching them, so now my own kids will have dvds to show their own kids what they were like, from tantrums to medals! lol
But I also love taking photos of my husband, his twinkly eyes and gorgeous grin keep me going every single day, and I love taking his picture!

One of my treasured memories is when my kids were little on stage at a telent contest while at haven, I took lots of photos of them on different holidays, all in photo albums. I was running out of space so recently I discovered photo books (am not that techy so was a bit weary) but it was realy easy, now I do photo books as Xmas presents. I also have a video with the kids on which I'm trying to get put into dvd.

Definitely my children when they were brand new . I am so glad we lived in the era of digital photography so I could take some lovely snaps even as I recovered from my EMCS.

The whole wall of the stairs is covered in photos of the children and other family members and special places

I lost my nan several years ago and whenever I remember her it's always with fond thoughts. I had a photograph of a time when she did my makeup. It was absolutely horrendous (I was around 11 or so then) but now it just makes me laugh.

I have a photo of the first time I met one of my best friends nearly 30 years ago, another friend was at the same party and snapped us dancing, then had a copy made for me, it's a really good photo and as I've got older I've definitely appreciated it more - I look so much better in it than I thought I did at the time! I used to have it framed on my wall but it was lost during a house move and I was gutted. Last year in lockdown I was able to track down a negative from the friend who originally took it and get a new copy and that all-important electronic back up.

Sharing the new copy of the photo and talking about the olden days during lockdown got us back on the right track after drifting apart a bit, it really is a treasured possession and I won't lose it again.

I'm constantly using apps like free prints to print of photos of moments that made me happy. I have an entire wall dedicated to them in my home.

I’ve kept a keepsake box for each child and also did there footprints in clay to keep.
Another thing I have done was to get them to put there hands and feet in paint and pressed them on the wall in the hallway and I’ve then put there names underneath 😀

My phone is full to the brim with photos, which I upload to my laptop. I am always meaning to do something with them, but never get round to it. I would my faves up on my wall in lovely frames.

We create photobooks of our holiday photos, although it's usually about a year or two after the holiday before we get round to it! We've done this for all holidays that are a week or more long - i.e. the 'main one' each year. I'd love to make more photobook collections of random memories, days out, short weekend breaks, etc, but for now they're sitting on my computer, and my external harddisk, and my phone. I've organised some of them by date already to help the process along but the rest are waiting for me to find the time! We don't have a lot of photos on display around our house at the moment, so these coffee table books really mean a lot.

I create a photo book every twelve months for my son showing pictures accross the year, he loves looking through them.

I love proper albums and photo books and have loads from when my child was young but have no space to store any more and so have stopped making them I’m old fashioned and prefer proper prints to digital photos!
