Do you have a child who likes to draw? Enter the Skyscanner ‘Favourite Holiday Memory’ Challenge

Even though it may be a few more months before we can go on holiday again, we’re lucky to be able to reminisce about the fun holidays we’ve had in the past. With this in mind, Skyscanner would like your children to get creative and draw us a picture of their favourite holiday memory.

Here’s what Skyscanner has to say: “We’d love to find out what your child’s favourite holiday memory is and have them draw it. Maybe it’s a funny incident that happened? Perhaps it was a beautiful landscape that left an impression, or an unforgettable moment when they tried something new for the first time? Just download the Skyscanner play pack and share it with us on this thread!”

What is the Skyscanner play pack? It is a free weekly downloadable activity sheet filled with fun activities, games and puzzles to keep your child occupied. We know how tough it can be to juggle both work and personal responsibilities (especially with a restless little one), so we hope this helps take some of the pressure off. And if you need more ideas on how your kids can be happy without actually going out, here are a few more ideas.”

How to take part:

1. Download and print the Skyscanner play pack if you have access to a printer (don’t worry if you don’t).
2. Have your child draw a picture of their favourite holiday memory. If your child can’t think of a holiday memory they could always draw their dream holiday instead!
3. Take a photo of your child’s picture and post it on the thread below. As much as your child would like to show off their picture, we kindly ask that you do not post a photo of your child themselves.

We know that every child has a great imagination and we’re sure that all of the drawings posted will be prize worthy. That’s why we’ll be randomly selecting 6 winners who will each receive a £50 voucher for a store of their choice (from a list).

DS decided to do it on Paint. He has tremendous fun drawing stick figures as it sends us all into fits of giggles. His dream holiday he said is going to the beach, laying on blankets and soaking up the sun, just the 3 of us. He didn't think to include DD or DS2 lol as they drive him nuts.

My 5 year old DS drew his favourite memorable holiday moment - when we saw a shark last year on holiday in Porto santo and all had to get out of the water! It was very dramatic! Turned out to be a basking shark but apparently the first time they had seen one in years on that beach.

My 5 year old has drawn the Disney castle and Mickey mouse! We were lucky enough to go this year before lockdown started, and his favourite part was seeing the castle and the parade 😍

Georgie ma favourite holiday memory was staying at Chessington World of Adventures last year. We stayed in a jungle room which had bunk beds and a pull out bed so all three girls stayed in the room together. We could see giraffes from the restaurant. She talks about this little holiday all the time and can’t wait to go back again some day.

I’m thinking of the only fools and horses episode where Rodney won a holiday in a child’s competition 😂😂 .
Unfortunately for me, my youngest son is unwilling to draw me a picture for fear of this happening 🙄🙄 he’s 19 and his favourite holiday was with his eldest brother and friends on a lads holiday and he doesn’t think mumsnet is the site for any memory from that holiday 😂😂😂
