Fairy Non Bio is sponsoring the Mumsnet Talk App and wants to hear about the moments when you’ve seen the baby in your bigger kids. Maybe they’re 10 and still suck their thumb, or your teenagers tantrum like they’re toddlers? Do your kids refuse to cuddle you in front of their friends but need a hug in the night when they’ve had a bad dream? Perhaps they cry when they’re tired or want to cuddle up with their favourite blanket in front of the TV?

Here’s what Fairy Non Bio has to say “Fairy Non Bio is good for anyone who wants a softer, more sensitive wash (that still leaves clothes clean!). Its gentle formula promises to be kind to both your clothes and your skin. Fairy Non Bio believes in the power of softness, and the strength that comes with showing your softer side.”

So, to celebrate the Fairy Non Bio sponsorship of the Mumsnet Talk App, they’d like you share the moments when you’ve seen the baby in your bigger kids. If you avidly check out Mumsnet's talk boards, you should download the app for yourself. It's free, and allows you to be part of the conversation wherever you are!

All those who post below will be entered into a prize draw where one MNer will win a £300 Love2Shop voucher.

Thanks and good luck!

When my three year old finishes her bath, (and the rest of the time she's determined to be a 'big girl') she loves to have raspberries blown on her tummy. We tickle her and blow raspberries, just as we did when she was a baby, and she howls with laughter. It is a beautiful moment most evenings.

When she gets told off my 5 year old inevitably wails 'I want a cuddle' repeatedly. It definitely feels like a regression to an earlier age.

When my nearly 7 year old is poorly, and just wants to lay on me. sad

ButterflyOfFreedom Wed 09-Nov-16 20:08:27

When they are poorly they just want 'mummy' and want me to give them lots of cuddles & hold them - just like when they were babies!

I still lift my 6yo out of her mid sleeper wrapped in a blanket and carry her into my bed for a cuddle. Luckily for my back, she's very light!

She's my precious only so I'm happy for her to stay my baby for as long as she wants!

DS came to the into my room in the early morning aged four and climbed into bed for a cuddle. He stayed there half an hour, then climbed out and went back to playing.

My big daughter has a dog teddy, called Sparky, than she's had since she was a little baby, and she can't sleep at night without it. She still hugs it at night. It's like the comforting protection of a blanket for a little baby.

When My 'extremely grown up' 4 year wants a cuddle and her back rubbed.
When my DS 12 is feeling sad he asks for warm milk and a cuddle.

When my 8 year old (who doesn't suck his thumb) curls up with his blankie and sucks his thumb!

When sleeping they seem to revert to babies, so peaceful and forgetting all their worries.

foxessocks Wed 09-Nov-16 22:01:10

My nearly 3 yo likes to be "carried like a baby" every now and again!

thugmansion Wed 09-Nov-16 22:20:23

Or when they are 24 and text you from their bedroom at 3am to say "come and watch the election results with me I cant bear to watch on my own" smile

Belmo Wed 09-Nov-16 22:31:50

My 5yo still likes to come and cuddle up in bed with me in the morningsmile

Mindfulofmuddle Wed 09-Nov-16 22:35:01

My 8yo big boy wouldn't dream of taking his comforter out of the house nowadays, and hides it when anyone comes round. However, at home with us, it's still his favourite thing in the whole world! He has it tucked under his arm wherever he goes in the house, and never goes to bed without it.

BathshebaDarkstone Wed 09-Nov-16 22:35:40

DS 5 still snuggles and kisses with me. DD 9 asks me to go in with her and hold her hand while she pays her pound to play at our local holiday scheme. She also likes me to do the action rhyme I did with her as a baby at bedtime.

My 24 year old DD still comes home for a cuddle and hair stroking when they feel ill!

emzywemzy1986 Thu 10-Nov-16 03:49:22

Does the OH count grin I see the baby in him everyday, but my DD has just turned 2 and still likes to have a nap cuddling mummy. If Not, then a cuddle when she's woken. No one else will do smile

cwalliss82 Thu 10-Nov-16 05:28:25

My seven year old still likes it when I stroke her hair when she is going to sleep - just like she did when she was a baby.

ThemisA Thu 10-Nov-16 06:21:16

When tired my seven year old occasionally slips her thumb into her mouth snuggled under a blanket on the sofa

My teenagers turn into babies if they see a spider in their room smile

ricola1 Thu 10-Nov-16 06:50:51

At night when they dont want to sleep in their own beds and try and get in mine

Roraima Thu 10-Nov-16 07:16:16

No big deal ! If they are ill or mama does it best the whimper is unintelligible, sonorous, alarming and distressful. Which means if I dare not to attend they wither and cease to live... I have quite a crowd of actors. Otherwise, if I don't hear from them it means the earth is gyrating the right way and all is calm on the waterfront !

maryandbuzz1 Thu 10-Nov-16 07:17:19

Whenever my son is tired he becomes babyish. He speaks in what he thinks is a baby's voice and sucks his thumb.
