Netflix would like to know how you’ll be spending your time now that the kids are back at school. Maybe you’ll be finishing that blog post you started writing two months ago. Or perhaps you’ll be finally making use of your neglected gym membership. Or you might want treat yourself to a precious moment relaxing with your feet up, a cup of tea and your favourite Netflix show.

Netflix is available anywhere where there’s a Wi-Fi connection, and can be watched on numerous devices, including mobiles, tablets, smart TVs and games consoles. With a huge selection of quality films and award-winning TV shows, including access to Netflix’s exclusive original programmes, there’s always something new to discover.

You can see how other mums are using Netflix by visiting the Netflix Bloggers page here.

So, how will you be using Netflix now that you have a bit more time to yourself? Do you work part-time and savour your afternoons relaxing after a hectic morning by indulging in an episode of Suits? Are you grabbing an hour to yourself catching up on Orange is the New Black on your iPad while luxuriating in the bathtub? Once the kids are safely tucked up in bed, are you and your DH enjoying binge-watching the final season of The Killing on your smart TV? Whatever it is, Netflix would love to hear about it!

Everyone who posts on this thread will be entered into a prize draw to win a £250 Love2Shop voucher.

Thanks and good luck,

I will be using Netflix to watch movies I haven't been able to watch since dd was born.

I haven't been to the cinema since she was born in 2011 so I am trying to watch all movies on Netflix that have been recently released Grin

There are quite a few, and it works out much cheaper than cinema Grin

While DS1 is at preschool and DS2 naps, I'll be catching up on all the certificate 15+ things I can't watch with them around! Got 3 episodes of OITNB left and half a series of house of cards, I can't wait! Grin

I'm trying to work my way through various series that have been recommended to me. The good Wife, The Killing, breaking bad, person of interest, house of cards all on my list!

I use Netflix to work my way through programmes like 'Breaking Bad' and 'Dexter'. I found myself completely hooked on both. My new favourite is 'Modern Family' although I'm just coming to the end of season 2 and the next season isn't on there yet! I'd love to know if it's going to be available anytime soon??

I love the flexibility of Netflix. I can watch it on lot of different devices. I can even get it on my phone when staying at friends house etc so I can always get my fix! :D

I like French films and have just shelled out to rent 'Blue is the Warmest Colour to watch when my two go back to school - I wished I'd checked my Netflix account first, it's on there! That'll learn me.

I watched 'Rev' & 'Twenty Twelve' on Netflix and, twee as this sounds, they got me thorough an incredibly hard time in my life.

I'll be back at work

However, Netflix is something I would consider as we don't have a TV, online demand services aren't that great, & DVDs are taking over all our cupboards.

If it's available on different devices then we could watch anywhere in the house, handy if I wanted to watch foreign language film without bothering the DS.

I wake maddeningly early so getting to lie on with a film until DS stirs would be great.

I will have 2 free afternoons a week from January when little one starts pre school. Hubby and I are planning to have an afternoon tea together and also some outdoor stuff like go ape. Thank goodness he doesn't expect me to use all this time for housework.

Netflix will now be my evening treat! Instead of endless marathons of Go Diego Go I will warp and terrify myself with American Horror Story. :P

We usually watch Netflix in the evening, after the children have gone to bed. I would feel guilty watching it during the day though, it's definitely an evening treat for me. And yes please to more Modern family and also any chance of Community coming on soon?

I'm currently 5 months pregnant and have just discovered Netflix. My husband bought me a tablet, and my hope is that Netflix (mostly Matt Smith from Dr. Who) are going to keep me Company in the sleepless nights leading up to the birth, and certainly to be used as a distraction during night feeds when the time comes!

I will be using Netflix to watch all of breaking bad with my husband when he comes back from an 8 week long course at work. And of course for cosy nights in on the sofa watching a good movie while the boys are in bed!

I'm watching Orange Is the New Black, having been hooked on Breaking Bad and bereft when I finished the series. Have also been having some time with DD at weekends watching 'old' movies - her words not mine (basically any film pre-2010 is vintage in her opinion) - was watching Father of the Bride the other day.

Unfortunately, I need to get DD to stop watching films now she's back at school, since she has habitually been staying up watching stuff on Netflix til 1am throughout the holidays (she's a teenager) and actually needs to get some sleep now in order to get up for school!

I love Netflix, wish I had it whilst I was pregant with my last baby, would have made those last couple of weeks pass so much quicker.
I tend to binge watch series, Breaking Bad, Dexter, Orange is the new black, Survivors, Dead like me, Prison Break, Heros, Bates Motel, American Horror Story, Chuck, Sherlock..... to name but a few.

I probably have a bit of an addiction, but when the little one is tucked up asleep and there's nothing but tripe on the normal telly, its perfect!
