Our SN area is not a substitute for expert advice. While many Mumsnetters have a specialist knowledge of special needs, if they post here they are posting as members, not experts. There are, however, lots of organisations that can help - some suggestions are listed here. If you've come across an organisation that you've found helpful, please tell us. The elephant in the room: electromagnetic environmental health

Electromagnetic fields (EMFs) and radiation (EMR) are increasingly being implicated in developmental disorders and special educational needs, as well as general tiredness, concentration, memory, and behavioural issues

We encourage parents to consider the electromagnetic environment, both at home and at school, that their kids are subject to, and to do what they can to ensure that exposures are kept as low as possible. The young, the old, and those with compromised health are particularly vulnerable to the effects, as per WHO guidance (2002)

Unfortunately, for far too long public health authorities, many (albeit mercifully not all) establishment regulators, scientists, and healthcare professionals, who should be looking out for families have utterly failed to do so. Worse still, industry has been allowed to hijack the issue and to stigmatise those with environmental illnesses in general, and electro-sensitivity especially
