Sorry this is long and a bit complex but here goes. I have a 6 year old daughter who has been back and forth in the system since she started nursery at three years old. It started when the teacher noticed that my daughter had a few issues she didn't socialise well she played a long side others not with others, she was introverted but polite. They noticed physical issues like not being able to hold a pencil well she was clumsy so forth they started to throw around the words Asperger's. They were brilliant in the sense they were quick to get her seen by SEN, she was sent to physio for assessment, speech and language and a child psychologist we had a full panel with all of the above and a paediatrician. roll on and after a year of groups and physio it all came down to time. She developed social skills in her own time and is now social but still a little introverted, she had poor motor skills but is now much better and she no longer needs any support. Now to why I'm here she has been dropped by everyone but I still see an issue with her Visual processing and spatial awareness. someone did point out that she is clumsy and she is unable to complete simple puzzles she is unable to understand how they slot together. I have brought it up but no one seems to be worried but I think there is an issue but since she's' been dropped by SEN and they seem reluctant to see her again so I don't where to go from here. Has any one had a child who have had these issues is she just clumsy (like me) or am I making to much of it she's had help am I asking to much and nit picking, if anyone has any advice on visual processing and spatial awareness problems please can you offer any advice.
