Thinking about a maths tutor for 8 year old with ASD

DD struggles a lot at school. Very interested in the world and reads a lot but struggles with the structure of school and with instructions. She doesn't have any 1 to 1.

Was going well with numeracy (level 2c which considering she did no work for half the year was amazing) in year 2 but has lost her confidence in year 3. She struggles with fast recall times tables etc.

I'm considering finding a tutor to help with her confidence, she loves 1 to 1 attention. Has anyone had success with this approach?
