Hi all
I am a PE teacher & I have just qualified as a SENco. I have a personal interest in Dyspraxia and helping those with motor control difficulties to reach their full potential and raise their self esteem. I am thinking about running a course of 10 physical activity classes specifically for "Dyspraxic" children and/or those with motor control challenges to try and help them to improve. I believe that if you can support and improve other needs such as dyslexia/ADHA/Autism and so on, why isn't this being done for Dyspraxia?
I have pasted the advert text below... not to advertise, but purely because I would really like to hear the opinions of Mums everywhere who have a second to comment! (I am a Mum of two gorgeous girlies myself!)....... Thanks so much in advance, I appreciate all feedback - good and bad!

Worcestershire's only Dyspraxia specific activity class is coming soon! Would you benefit from a weekly physical activity class which focusses on improving your balance, co-ordination, reaction speed, agility and self esteem? No matter what your age, I would like to hear from you. Groups will be structure according to age and demand and locations will be close to Pershore/Worcester. It will be a 10 week course run by qualified PE teacher who is qualified to assist and support special educational needs. Please click "Join" to register your interest and you will be contacted soon. Thanks!
