Dear Parents/Guardians,

My name is Arlene Mannion. I'm a 2nd year Masters of Science (MSc) student in applied behaviour analysis in National University of Ireland, Galway.

I'm currently conducting a research study for my thesis on comorbidity in children aged 3-16 years with autism spectrum disorders in Ireland.

Comorbidity is the presence of one or more disorders in addition to a primary disorder. I wish to examine co-occuring psychological disorders, sleep disorders, gastro-intestinal symptoms, epilepsy and seizure symptoms. The prevalence of comorbidity in children with autism spectrum disorders has never been examined in Ireland to date, and this study aims to yield data that is currently unavailable in Ireland.

I was wondering if you would be able to help me by filling out a questionnaire?

Please contact me if you are interested in helping me with this study, or have any questions about the research. My email address is a.mannion3@nuigalway.ie

Thanking you,
Arlene Mannion
