Hello there. Not been here in ages and ages and hope everyone is doing OK, particularly with the school hols. Just to let you all know I had my baby on 29th July. You can read all about it here birth annoucement Thanks to those who have already congratulated me.

The children have been excellent - more than I could have wished for. ds was a bit wary and wouldn't hold baby as he said he was "too noisy". However today he did hold him and he likes to hold his head with one hand when I am feeding and hold my boob with the other! dd who I thought would take badly has been great too.

Paul is an absolutely incredibly easy baby which I am sure has helped with him fitting into the family.

dh was off all this week on paternity leave so have had plenty of help. Only another week to go and the schools go back on the 16th.

And the sun has even been shining again too...

congrats Eulalia and family. I like the name Paul, might have chosen it for DD if she'd been a boy, was my Dad's name.

Thanks everyone. jimjams did you get my email?

Coping fairly well. dh was off last week but this week has been hard but ds is back at school on Tuesday and dd starts Playgroup so things will get easier.

However HAD to go shopping today. Drove to Asda (shhh! not supposed to be driving) and it was a tad stressful to say the least. As its my birthday (40th!) on Monday I was deterimned to buy myself some new clothes. Got ds2 and dd into the trolley. Trolley stiff and squeaky. ds1 insisted on pushing it (slowly). Went round the women?s clothes and selected a few things ? turned round and all 3 children had disappeared! Panic, panic- rushed round the shop for several mins. ds1 had wheeled the trolley away, no doubt bashing shoppers on the way.... Got them back and somehow managed to try the clothes on. ds1 then disappeared. Turned out he was hiding in one of the changing cubicles. Then he announced he needed the toilet (which is at the other end of the shop) so trundled all the way up there then back round the shop. Got about half the shopping and ds2 woke up hungry so back up again to the other end of the shop to the feeding/changing room. ds1 and dd sat on the floor eating bread and chocolate buttons and dd started to undress herself (a rather annoying habit she has). Fed ds2 quickly and went back round the shop again. Kept on having to shout on ds1 as he was wandering off. ds2 a bit grizzly although he fell asleep (bless him) but dd started whinging big time when I finally went rhough the checkouts. The whole blasted thing took 2 hours.

Seriously tempted to open the wine box.... never mind its the weekend
