Two things....

  1. How the heck do we stop dd1 climbing? She managed to pull the ladder over on herself yesterday - ladder is now locked away in the shed ( pita as we are renovating/decorating ) Or do I just remove all sources for climbing or make the house climb proof?

  2. How do I encourage her not to remove her trousers!!! she has just discovered she can take her trousers off and seems to prefer to run around in just her nappy.... despite it being freezing and I am rugged up in tracksuit ( no central heating here) At least ( touch wood) she has not done this in public YET - perhaps because she can't get her jeans over her boots...

Make climb proof. We are currently debating whether or not to remove the payhouse as ds1 keeps climbing on the roof. Seems a shame for ds2, but I can't stop him and he hops up in about 2 seconds. (it's quite high and above concrete).

I think for the trousers you'll have to just try and make them hard to take off, or keep putting them back on.

good luck!

thanks for the advice... I think the trousers is a novelty thing - she just worked out how to do it.

Oh yes, go climb proof as much as poss, its not an easy behaviour to deal with. I relaxed after a while, as long as windows etc were safe as DS is so well co-ordinated and hardly ever had any accidents or hurt himself.
