mmmm, I like the backpacks actually. No Lidl near me though

Chocol8 Fri 08-Jul-05 18:07:14

MMMmmm, the red and the grey backpacks I may have to look at Davros!

Thanks for letting us know MrsF - I am a closet stationary geek - always have been.

I have to be dragged bodily out of Paperchase at the weekends!

Davros Fri 08-Jul-05 18:18:57

Oooh, Paperchase on Tottenham Court Road is HEAVEN! How was your birthday btw Choc?

TheRealMrsF Sun 10-Jul-05 21:21:20

jessicaandbumpsmummy Sun 10-Jul-05 21:25:43

i liek the look of a lot of that stuff..... dont know where lidl's is in colly tho - if one at all....

coppertop Sun 10-Jul-05 21:47:06

I like the look of those notebooks. There's a Lidl here but I'm getting a bit p*ssed off with going there and finding out that the stuff they are advertising is never actually in the shop. Grrrrr! OTOH I can hear those notebooks calling out to me.......

TheRealMrsF Sun 10-Jul-05 22:04:43

there's a electronic shredder i have mye eye on....i find it so theraputic...there's something very satisfying about holding on tight to what you are shredding so you feel the pull as it enters the machine!!!!

coppertop Sun 10-Jul-05 22:08:30

We used to have a hand shredder (always sounds like it's something designed for shredding hands!) but it never really worked properly. I'd love an electric one but I have visions of ds2 busy shredding every piece of paper we possess.

TheRealMrsF Sun 10-Jul-05 22:15:00

Hmmmmmm...hadn't thought of that.

Infact...come to think of it we DO alraedy have a HUMAN shredder....or 2....

Today TOM picked apart a cardboard CD sleeve...into fluff...microbes of cardboard all over the floor...table near the computer.
he has no idea he is doing it...but today (PMT)I got very cross...probably cos for weeks he's not shreadded anything...he'd even chewed one of leighs YuGiOH trading cards too.....

coppertop Sun 10-Jul-05 22:18:04

Eeek! I bet Leigh was not impressed with that!

TheRealMrsF Sun 10-Jul-05 22:20:13

well...twas lucky taht leigh has submerged back into gameboy mode he has no inkling that this has happened....i just sit and wait to see if the card was a 'special' one.

CountessDracula Sun 10-Jul-05 23:01:53

I think you mean stationery

TheRealMrsF Sun 10-Jul-05 23:05:35

i used to be a great 'speller' as a child....where has the talent gone???!!!! !!!

edam Sun 10-Jul-05 23:05:36

ho ho CD was just considering whether I should make the same point or whether that would be toooooo pedantic...

TheRealMrsF Sun 10-Jul-05 23:06:57

I NEVER preview posts either...i'm always scared i'll hate what i've written (likely!!!)...and then cancel that message!!!!

TheRealMrsF Mon 11-Jul-05 11:24:48

well at lidl today i bought
1 paper shredder (electric)
2organizer cases
1 huge Desk Mat (so alex can stop denting my pine table when he draws
1 school bag
1 pack metalic coloured pencils (for meeeeee!)
1 pack triangular coloured pencils
1 note pad block(rainbow sheets)
assorted pack of paperclips etc

coppertop Mon 11-Jul-05 11:36:24

BattyBox Thu 14-Jul-05 20:21:00

TheRealMrsF Thu 14-Jul-05 21:25:04

I don't think its's that expensive either....

now i just want to get some 'school supplies' catalogues...any suggestions????

Davros Thu 14-Jul-05 21:30:47

I'll have whatever she's having

coppertop Fri 15-Jul-05 16:04:20

LOL at MrsF and her stationery catalogues!

I went to Lidl this morning and got 4 lovely notebooks and a box full of paperclips and pins. I had to take some money out of my purse before I got there otherwise I would've used the lot to get my stationery 'fix'.
