A Jacuzzi Question??

DS2 loves a jacuzzi, we have taken him to a couple of pools with jacuzzi's he wasn't interested in the pool but we couldn't get him out of the bubbles.

I was thinking of trying to get him one of those jacuzzi/bubble things that go in the bath from Santa.

Has anyone tried them? Do they work?
Prices vary hugely on line, all the ones that look OK are way, way too pricey.. (things a bit tight this yr, but that's another storey).

Are they worth the money or should i just give him more Beans

our old flat came complete with "jacuzzi" bath - it was pretty rubbish tbh, the jets came up a bit too hard and fast, so not a very pleasant feeling.

Really, we struggle to know what to get him at xmas, so thought this might be a solution.
Shame you can't try before you buy!

Were you looking at the mats or the pump things? My sister had a pump thing, and it wasn't that great. Kind of created a whirlpool in the bath rather than a jacuzzi.

the on's i've looked at are mats with pumps attached.
Also not sure how safe it would be with him, the more i think about it maybe its not sucha good idea.

Unless theres a really robust SN type on the market??

A robust SN would probably cost 10x as much.

I'll have a scour tonight, see what I can find. I'm usually quite resourceful (and have no life).

It's hard to predict. DS1 loves jacuzzis in swimming pools but not our home one as he does not like the noise of the pump. Unless you can trial one with him before buying it might be risky.

at you having no life, me neither but can't drag myself away from mn, i'm not very patient when it coimes to scouring the net! Thanks for your help.

Cyber - hadn't thought about the noise, would have to get waterproof ear plugs too.

So what am I going to get for ds2 (age 6) mild CP & autism & Very little interest in anything.
Would it be really mean to get him nothing

we have a mat type one with a pump thing, its made by babylis but cant remember exactly what its called but aimed at kids, cant have been expensive as my very tight brother bought it for ds for his birthday last year, might have box somewhere and will try find it later or check if it has a name on the thing itself

the one my ds has is babyliss bubble magic, if you google it should find it ok. my ds likes it, makes some noise but not more than expected i would say, needs charging for each use but ds loves it, hope that helps
