DD 4.9 has eventually been referred to cahms mainly for her pooing rituals. She is petrified of poo and will only have a poo in a nappy in her bedroom surronded by certain things, we have tried everything taking the nappies from her sittig her on the toilet for hours but to no avail. She has chronic constipation which is currently medically controlled and it doesnt hurt her to go but it used to and she is obviously still scarred by this memory.
Since school it has got worse as someone had had a poo in the toilet at school and not flushed it so now she wont wee at school so she is wetting herself daily.
Cahms have agreed to give her a pyschologist, has anyone else been in a similar situation and come out the other end?
