MSB - If I'm right, did I remember you saying you were in Southampton? I am not far away but in Wiltshire. There's nothing here of use in terms of support but a friend of mine told me about Hampshire Autistic Society

I don't know if you are aware of these guys but it says they provide support during diagnosis.

Yes i know of them, paed told us a while back.
After a bit of persuading DH that we should fill membership form, he agreed it could be useful for info, support,...
So we 're members but i'm so damned petrified of attending anything they have offered so far!
I am very interested in their young children play session but i haven't the courage to go and DH says he won't go with us.
He says he will go however to the parents evening chat they have now and then.
Maybe should start with that, get to know people then i might feel better at the thought of going alone to the kids' session. (i'm so shy when face to face with strangers).
