i want to put together some info about ds1 for when he starts nursery but am struggling with what to put in it. I have the basics but I remember people posting about ones they had done. Bubblagirl I remember you as one of the suspects could some one point me in the right direction of the threads (cant find them for the life of me) or help with some suggestions. Obviously I want it to have enough info but dont want an epic.
Thanks

A communication passport would be perfect.

We did this too.

We bought a scrapbook, loads of stickers etc and did it over school holidays.

First pages are about early life & development (professionals seem to need this). It says when first words, first steps etc and any little alergies or illness.

Then it moves on to "Now I am xx years old" I can...... I like..... I laugh when.... I am good at..... I am interested in.... My friends names are.... we like to play these games together.....

Then a page of I don't like it when.... It's a little bit harder for me to.....

Then a page of "I want to try / learn to...."

It's full of pictures, photo's and even cut-outs from comics & argos! DS loves to show it off to new people that he meets and we try to update it whenever we are aware of a transition coming up or a new person or group of people coming along. His peers really enjoy looking at it and pointing out to him how much he has improved. It gives a kind of "never give up" message to him.
