had a letter from the NAS and it seems like a good idea, has anyone else looked into this? from a quick glance at the letter it costs £25 a year and covers for any damage the person with ASD causes to items, property or people and covers the carers can name more than one person.

see this is the thing i suppose, my 9 year old DS with ASD is already nearly as tall as i am and stronger than me. I cannot run as fast as him and struggle to restrain him. If i dont restrain in time he can throw things and lash out to any one or anything in his path.
Good point about the home insurance though will check that out this week before making any decisions about this cover.
