dd has just wound me up, what a mare

She is due back at school tomorow, one wee after her op.
she was crying really upset.
got ds to talk to her
she seemed to not want to go to school
cue loads of tears
so in the bath I talk to her, telling her how the school people would look after her and so on.........
yes you guessed it she wants to go to school.
she burst out laughing when I asked if she was tricking me.............................................

Took Boy ages to learn how to make a joke, and even longer to try and pull tricks not of the slapstick variety.
I was so proud of him when he pulled the wool over my eyes....at last!
