Clearly I have no idea but couldn't leave that unanswered. It must be so draining/demoralising (IYSWIM) to know it is coming and you can't help. Much sympathy.

Is it the epilepsy Riven? (apologises if this is a really stupid question).

ds has started doing this about once a week lately, he "says" its his mouth thats sore.
i figure it could be his adult teeth starting to push up?
Calpol seems to work for ds so i'm assuming its nothing serious.

How unsettling for you both

screaming as in she appears frightened / upset / distressed or screaming just as a loud noise?

dd does this also - more of like a woo woooo wwwwoooohooooo shriek. She doesn't appear in distress tho. Quite manic but still capable of smiling. Have noticed a connection with that and poo (she has chronic constipation) Whooping often means an explosion along these lines

my dd goes v blotchy also - like corned beef arms. Sometimes they look a bit purpley. I don't know what this is either. Suspect it is that brain is shutting off oxygen to limbs / extremities.

She mostly is not upset like you describe yr dd tho

Could you request a longer mobile eeg to maybe try and catch? We are waiting for 48 hr one (tho still suspect we'll get a flukily good 48 hrs with no signs of this)
