We have them for going to watch car racing (VERY LOUD ENGINES!) but dd2 (sn) won't wear them so now I stay at home with her.

Totally agree with beingbusymum.

He also likes to cover his eyes in situations, although we take a blanket. He also has a weighted dog for his shoulders or lap.

Try peltor kids - we have some for DS, age 6, plenty big enough. You should be able to find them on ebay
