He who smelt it...

DS1 (ASD) always does his ablutions in the evening so tends to be a bit on the 'fragrant' side during and after tea and bath. He is also very hypersensitive to smell.

Last night, just before bedtime, DS1 was washing his hands after doing a quick wee before bedtime, when he said to DH "Daddy what can I smell it's horrible" to which DH promptly replied. "You can smell you because you just passed wind!!"

DS1 apparantly dissolved into a fit of giggles.

At last, he has had to smell what we put up with everynight!!.

You're lucky. DS1 is awful, especially when I pick him up from after school club. We go to the nursery to pick DS2 up and they then spends ages sniffing babies' bottoms to see who's filled their nappy, until I finally force DS1 to admit that it's him!
