We call it, 'Knock out drops' in our house, but can hardly put that on the repeat prescription request to the Doctor lol

Its not Melatonin, can't for the life of me think what it's called, and have thrown out the bottle!

I'll reconize the name when I see it, so even if you think it's not the one I'm talking about, please post it anyway... was meant to be gone by now, thought I'd drop letter off on the way!

TIA

Ours is called Vallergan Forte (got the bottle in front of me - knocks the poor little sod out for days at a time...

Sorry, can I just add - we've only used it once... ;-) He's only two and we think it's a bit strong for him.

Your doc will hopefully have a record of what he/she prescribed last time?

Lol at some of the replies

The winnner is Monster, with Chloral Hydrate. I found the repeat prescription request part of the form in my glovebox... only problem is the car wouldnt start, so ended up not going - will hopefuly get to put it in tomorrow. I managed to get the car going with our 'jump start box' thankfuly

Chloral Hydrate seems difficult to get hold off these days. I was told it had been discontinued...luckily the chemist did get some in, and the pharmacist (sp) has a bottle kept to one side for me.. least he did have, lets hope no one else has put in a prescription!

Thanks again for your help, and apologies for not getting back to you... dd 2 was hogging the computer for, 'homework'! xx
