Having come back from Bibic we have a daily calendar we are using to help dd with time concepts and daily timetable.
Please can anyone tell me where I can buy the velcro and things to stick them on. If there are any websites that would be great!!!!
Thanks xxx

Blossy do you want me to make you a visual time table....I have all the stuff here.....can make it up for you really quickly....have the laminator...piccies etc.

Cam make you one like the one they use at for home and one for school....let me know. Will do it for cost and P&P.

We use it daily here at home for J....really helps a lot.

Jayzmummy - that would be great if you could
I have all of the pics as the therapist did them for me!!!!!
Just let me know how much for cost and p&p and I'll send it out to you.

If you send me the piccies...I'll get the laminating pouches....ave already got the sticky velcro.....I'll emial you my address. Dont think it'll cost any more than a £10 for the two.

Ah thanks
The piccies are laminated already and they have so kindly said that as they have the facilities will print off any that I want and send them off.
They have even said I can have an outreach appt if I want!!!!

Well if they are already laminated you only need to get the velcro to stick on the can get that from Woolies....called something like ??sticky fixers?? Get a big piece of strong card....cover it in a pretty material....then put the velcro fasteners in place on the board...attach the other piece of vecro on to the laminated piccioe and voila you have a visual time table.

What sort of pics are they? Are they Meyer Johnson Boardmaker or digital photos or something else? Have you decided whether to go top to bottom (like a shopping list) or left to right (like reading a book)????? Have you looked at PECs website for handy resources, even if you're not using their pics?

Sorry I don't know if this will be of any use for you, but I sometimes use a felt board for DD's SALT work. Really cheap corkboard from homebase cover with felt, just glued with PVA. Stick velcro only needed on the laminated pieces so you can move thing around as you need to.

Sorry if this isn't what you need, just thought it worth mentioning!

Good luck with it anyway BH!

i recommend the felt board too......just make sure you stick the ROUGH velcro on the pictures...!!!

MrsBeThankful Sat 02-Apr-05 22:06:23

i say this co i stuck mine on wrong- so had the fluffy velcro....and they don't stick to the felt well!!!

if you want me to do any i would love to...i have some great 'facial expression' ones...and also i made some 'smilies' for 'rewards'.

\i could do you say 12 per A4 sheet..... just ask.

Oh Mrsf, you are very sweet
Have u recieved my invitation to msn yet???

MrsBeThankful Sat 02-Apr-05 22:21:13

you can even go on for example the argos website and right click on any picture and save it as My you can then print off EXACTLY the toy etc that she uses.... applies many websites- some are copy right.

tom got me loads by googling 'images' instead of usual web searches...type in 'clothes' and you get loads of clothes....etc
