Hurray!!!!!

If you get tax credits (either now or in the future) make sure you tell them you get higher rate and you will get extra money from them too.

I'm soooo pleased for you.

Thankyou, were not sure what will spend it on, maybe to paint the dd's room and get dd2 her first bed.

I will be calling tax credits on monday to get that sorted and then aply for carers alowance.

So much has happened this weekend and tommorrow i hand my notice in at work, i cant stay at work and get dd2 to her nursery but i have been offered some work in our local pub for a few evenings a week which will be perfect and meens i can spend more time with the dd's.

Im not too upset about leeving my job, i have worked there for 6 years and will miss evryone but this may open new doors for me. Once dd2 starts school i am hoping to train to work with autistic children. It just meens money will be a bit tight for the next year or so, luckily dh is working and bringing some money in.

I applied for carers allowance the same time as dla, but i had to wait for DLA to reply, hopefuly i can just phone up and tell them i now have dla rather than filling out the form again.

Oh poo I've just looked up Carer's Allowance but as I'm on Maternity Allowance til the spring I won't be eligible til then. Still, something to look forward to.
