Glitterknickaz Wed 27-Aug-08 17:00:19

mm22bys - "parp" is the equivalent of - I could rant for England on this topic but had better not/can't be arsed. A lot of people used it on MN a few years ago but it's mostly fallen out of favour

mm22bys - parp is used when the poster knows that if they post it will cause trouble, so they don't !

Although they could just not post anything at all, and that would cause even less trouble.

Cos posting 'parp' is fecking annoying! grin

Thanks - I agree - it's almost as annoying as when people post "same as so and so" - in agreement. Doesn't really add much!

Or my all time favourite - "This has already been done / oh not this again.."

Well you may have already 'done' this, but I am fairly sure that every conversation it is possible to have on any topic it is possible to discuss, has probably already been done by someone somewhere, so if that's the rule, we should all just sew our gobs shut.
