You can't honey. It has to be prescribed. You can order it over the Internet, however, from US pharmacy online type sites.

I wish Blossom.....still doing the Santa Watch tonight!!!!! At the present time J is sat shining his torch up to the clouds through his bedroom window trying to see Santa.....if he doesnt go to sleep soon I think I'll scream......

Hubby is having first part of the night to sleep...he's been in bed since 8pm. He'll be taking over in an hours time and then I'll hit the sack till 9am...if I'm lucky.Night shift literally in this house!!!

Just worry about J he is starting to look pale and really tired. Long walk on the beach tomorrow might just wear him out....Fingers crossed!!!!

Blimey, Jess and Jays Mum. Your homes sound very lively at night. Lack of sleep is like a slow form of torture. I hope it gets better soon. Santafio2- on the case with the melatonin, the paed should get back to me tomorrow.

Its always the way, as soon as you decide something has become a real problem and resolve to do something about it, it stars to get better! Happy to send the melatonin but won't be until after Xmas now so would be next Weds I think.

I always pop down to Camden Town tube station on a Saturday afternoon and hang around in a phone box...!!!
I got liquid melatonin from Iherb in the USA but its quite a low strength which might be OK for you OR you can get capsules that MrsF uses from Ebay. You can't get liquid on Ebay but MrsF says her capsules disolve quite easily. I got tablets from the Paediatrician whcih are useless to hide in anything, even if you crush them ghey've got a sort of skin and don't disolve in anything! Me and DH take one of these now and then though. I told the Paediatrician last time I saw him that I was going to sell them on Ebay!! (I know him quite well btw). Have Cat you anyway.

Oh my god Jaysmum. Please do not tell me you still haven't had a nights sleep
I would be like a woman from hell if I was sleep deprived for that long.

Blossom....you know that picture of scarey? Well I look like her sister now...........

Still up most of last night....but he slept from 4.30 til 10am - so I got some sleep this morning.

J is totally exhausted...fast asleep in bed now...the only bonus of all this is that everything that can be washed has been...all the ironing is done...the kitchen is gleaming...and I've got nothing to do...the house has never looked so clean and tidy.....so tonight I'll be putting my feet up and will be having a few glasses of the red stuff...hubby doing the night shift so when I'm tucked up in my bed I know I'll be sleeping right through!!!!

I have just e-mailed you but didn't read this properly!!!
Am glad Jay is getting some sleep and hopefully you all will.

  • I cannot believe that all of your washing and ironing is done. That your house is clean. I have cleaned all the floors today but you wouldn't believe it looking at them now. Ellie is my little whirlwind, 10 minutes and everything I do she undoes!!!!!! Little madam that she is
