what does NT stand for????

I presume it is a child who doesnt have special needs, but what exactly does it stand for?

It means Neurologically Typical - it's a joke really.

As I understand it, it is basically a way of saying 'normal' without infering that a child who has SN is not 'normal' IYSWIM. I think it goes beyond being a joke really - although that link obviously was janh (liked it!).

I believe that in the states they often use 'typical' rather than 'normal'. I have kind of adopted this.
