We had an interesting day in London today, my first solo trip on the tube with my ds. We got to Moorgate and he decided he wanted the loo, i was slightly panicking as it was 12 stops to where we were going. Anyhow i went up to the guard in the station and explained that he needed the toilet and was registered disabled etc, well he was such a sweetie! "No problem Madam come with me" He took us to the staff toilets! Transport for London are going to get a glowing letter re their staff!!
We then went to the appt in hospital and we are going to put ds on a "ritalin trial" and see how it goes! I am thinking that we will just have to see if it makes any difference. They can't then say i havent exhausted every avenue re behaviour.........
On the way back we stopped at MCD's on Liverpool Station for something to eat and I was so so proud of ds. He noticed a lady coming in who was pushing her husband in a wheelchair, with no prompting whatsoever he got up and moved the chair away from the next table so the lady could wheel her husband to the table!! He can be so horrid to me sometimes, but that more than made up for it!!!
