I am very worried about my little girl, ive posted before about her speech delay. I am worried re autism, she has been looked at before at 18m and the pead said no shes fine. Come back at two if speech still a problem. She is two next week and sppech is still bad, i have been having SALT but this is coming to an end now and i feel left in the lurch. She is a very sociable little girl but is quite shy too, if you see what i mean. She relates well to her family though. Just shy of strangers. LAtely she is becoming very rigid about her routines at bedtime etc. What has worried me more though is her walking, she was a late walker but in the past few weeks has started walking oddly and on tip toe, its not very pronounced but when i mentioned this to the SALT she said i should get her re reffered, so now im pulling my hair out now. I have been really down and had decided yesterday (my graduation) that was going to be a more positive person, but this has thrown my right off kilter again. I have a GP appointment on monday but my mind is going into overdrive, i wont look at any websites because i know i will scare myself senseless. My DD is such a happy wee soul, i can cope with SN because she is still her but what if she has something that is going to make her regress or something or stop being her. Please help.
