Comfortable ear defenders?

Ds struggles with loud noises sometimes, we've the tried the edz kids ones (which were way too tight) and currently he has some siverline ones but they seem to be quite 'clampy' and so will only tolerate them for very short periods. Wondering if anyone has any recommendations for ones that are a bit looser and more comfortable to wear, that are suitable for a bigger child? Many thanks for any suggestions

They are all quite firm to wear as they rely on pressure to seal out noise. Adult ones from a builders merchant are worth a try or you can get kids noise cancelling headphones.

Thanks HardAsSnails I’ve just ordered some more from the screwfix website so will see what they're like when they get here, will look into the headphones also they may be another alternative to try

DS didn't get on with the Edz Kidz ones, he likes the Peltor ones. He started using the adult size once he was 7 or 8.
